Tarts are timeless classics that are perfect for every occasion. Our artisan creations are made with shortcrust pastry and fresh fruit jam and marmalade.

All of our tarts are completely free of preservatives.

These storied sweet treats are traditionally associated with Venice carnival and they are so famous that they have appeared in paintings by Renaissance artists and the works of Carlo Goldoni.
The recipe is simple and it has essentially remained unchanged for almost eight centuries: eggs, flour, sugar, fresh ricotta, lemon and raisins are fried in oil then dusted with sugar to give the ideal level of sweetness.

The forefather of this traditional Austrian pastry was Turkish Baklava. It is made with very thin pastry that is rolled around a filling containing apples, raisins and pine nuts.
As always, our artisan recipe is completely free of preservatives. We use seasonal apples, such as Golden Delicious in the spring, Royal Gala in the summer, Golden Delicious and Fuji in the autumn and Stark in the winter.
